Turbulence est le résultat d’une résidence d’artiste effectuée en juillet 2020 dans la ville de Saint John, au Nouveau-Brunswick. La résidence de création interculturelle a été organisée par l'Association acadienne des artistes professionnels du Nouveau-Brunswick (AAAPNB) et Artslink New Brunswick. Elle s'est déroulée sur une période de deux semaines en compagnie de deux autres artistes, Francine Francis et Dan Smeby.

J’ai parcouru les rues du centre-ville en prenant plusieurs différentes photographies (portraits, architecture, détails). J’ai ensuite construit des photomontages à partir de certaines parties de ces photographies. Dans ce projet, je met en scène l’atmosphère de la ville durant l'été 2020, peu après le confinement.

Turbulence is the result of an artist residency conducted in July 2020 in the city of Saint John, New Brunswick. The cross-cultural creative residency was organized by the Acadian Arts Service Organization For Professional Artists (AAAPNB) and Artslink New Brunswick. It took place over a two-week period with two other artists, Francine Francis and Dan Smeby.

I walked the streets of downtown taking many different photographs (portraits, architecture, details). I then constructed photomontages from parts of these photographs. In this project, I stage the atmosphere of the city during the summer of 2020, shortly after the lockdown.
