Glazoué est une ville située au centre-sud du Bénin, dans le département des collines. D’une population estimé à 124 431 habitants, Glazoué est réputée pour son marché appelé Gbominan, l’un des plus grands au pays, profitant d’un positionnement géographique favorable aux échanges avec le Nigéria, le Togo mais également avec la capitale du Bénin, Cotonou.

J’ai eu l’occasion d’y séjourner en février 2020. Voici une série de photographies réalisée dans les rues de Glazoué, au gré des rencontres et des errances.

Glazoué is a city located in the south-central part of Benin, in the “Collines” Department. With an estimated population of 124,431 inhabitants, Glazoué is famous for its market called Gbominan, one of the largest in the country, benefiting from a geographical position favorable to trade with Nigeria, Togo but also with the capital of Benin, Cotonou.

I stayed there in February 2020. The following is a series of photos made while wandering the streets of Glazoué.
